Fraud Forums
Join our fraud forum to share tips and best practice to stay one step ahead of the fraudster
As a provider of fraud prevention solutions we find it essential to listen and to learn from our industry colleagues to better understand how the fraudster operates. To facilitate knowledge across the fraud prevention community we have been running quarterly fraud forums for the last 2 years.
Run in conjunction with Dell, the Prove-ID Fraud Forum brings the fraud prevention community together to network, exchange best practice and hear relevant contributions from stakeholders in the fight against fraud.
Previous content has included:
- Interview with a convicted fraudster
- A guide to The Fraud Act 2006
- 3D Secure update from Visa and Mastercard
- The latest fraud stats from APACS
- An overview of The National Fraud Reporting Centre
- An update on The National ecrime Co-Ordination Unit
- A call for merchants to participate in controlled deliveries to target and arrest CNP fraudsters
- An analysis of the Fraudster’s toolkit
Our research shows that fraudsters share information on how to commit fraud, which sites are easiest to “card” and which card schemes and financial institutions are easiest to take on.
