Winners of Retail Security Initiative of the Year Award

192business, together with our customer Screwfix, are celebrating winning the Retail Security Initiative of the Year Award.

The award was presented by Retail Systems and recognises 192business role in enabling Screwfix to reduce their levels of CNP fraud whilst maintaining excellent levels of customer service and genuine customer acceptance.

When judging the award the panel considered how the application of technology achieved business benefits for Screwfix, alongside the degree of innovation present in 192business’s identity solution.

Screwfix is the UK's leading supplier of tools, accessories and hardware products to the trade, delivering millions of products to building professionals and serious DIY enthusiasts every year.

192business provide Screwfix with online identity verification which allows them to accept genuine customers and stop the fraudster. Screwfix also make use of Fraud-ID ; a fraud data sharing tool which allows them to share fraud alerts and acts as a further defense against fraud.
