Age Verification

Age verification is easier than it sounds and is simply the process of checking customer date of birth during a standard name and address identity check. 

The databases and technology that we employ to verify age for global customer bases are:

• Voter databases such as the UK Electoral Roll
• Credit reference data from Callcredit and other credit reference agencies
• Global identity token checks using data in passports, travel visas, national identity cards, tax numbers or national insurance numbers. 
• Voiceprint capture where an automated call is made to the customer during the transaction to request verbal confirmation of age.
