Right to Work Checks

The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 stipulates that employers must check that their staff have the right to work in the UK.

Carrying out right to work checks gives employers a defence against penalties or convictions if they are later found to have employed an illegal migrant worker. An ID document check is often the simplest form of right to work checking

In order to comply, employers need to check that documents are genuine, and must make a copy of the document that cannot be altered at a later date.

Not only do our right to work checks ensure you comply, they help to:
  • Add confidence to your recruitment process
  • Minimise pressure on HR staff to judge a document's authenticity
  • Reduce the amount of time needed to carry out each check
  • Safely store and archive checks online

As well as being used for Right to Work compliance, our checks help to add confidence to your entire recruitment process and we've ensured that they're simple to carry out and easy to archive for future reference.
